Jeddah Municipality Deploys Field Teams to Manage Rainfall
Jeddah Municipality has launched intensive field operations to address the current rainy weather, deploying thousands of personnel and equipment to ensure public safety.
Jeddah Governorate is currently experiencing rainy weather, prompting the municipality to raise its emergency preparedness levels and initiate immediate field operations.
The field response has been bolstered by a workforce of 7,139 personnel, supported by 1,318 pieces of equipment and machinery dedicated to rapid intervention.
These efforts are distributed across 11 sub-municipalities and 16 support centers, aimed at maintaining traffic flow and ensuring the safety of residents.
The municipality confirmed that its rainwater drainage networks and pumping stations are fully operational and prepared to handle the current weather conditions efficiently.
Authorities have urged the public to exercise caution and avoid areas where water may accumulate, noting that emergency reports can be filed via the unified number 940.
