Bomb Threats Disrupt Air Travel Across Europe

El Fadaly News Desk ·

Several European countries have faced security alerts regarding bomb threats targeting flights, with authorities currently investigating the incidents.

Air travel across various European nations faced disruptions today following a series of bomb threats. Security authorities in the Czech Republic, Portugal, and Denmark initiated precautionary checks on flights in response to the alerts.

Copenhagen police confirmed receiving threats targeting air navigation, while authorities in Prague conducted inspections at the airport. A similar alert was reported on a flight departing from Lisbon Airport.

Preliminary investigations indicate that there was no genuine risk to passenger safety in these incidents, which are part of a broader wave of alerts targeting approximately twenty flights over the past few days.

Security authorities have yet to identify those responsible for the threats. While some intelligence officials have linked the reports to intimidation campaigns associated with hybrid warfare, the European Commissioner for Transport stated that it is too early to confirm a direct connection between the incidents.
