Escalation of Military Operations in Yemen and Expanding Clashes
Yemeni frontlines are witnessing a significant military escalation with mutual attacks between government forces and the Houthis, alongside ongoing diplomatic efforts.
Field clashes continue across several Yemeni provinces, with government forces reporting the continuation of their military operations in the south and east of Al-Jawf Governorate for the third consecutive day.
Government forces also confirmed that they successfully repelled a series of Houthi attacks in the provinces of Taiz, Marib, and Lahj.
Meanwhile, the Houthi military spokesperson announced the execution of six operations targeting military sites and oil facilities within Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Houthi-affiliated media reported casualties following an attack on the village of Al-Shariya, east of Sanaa.
In related developments, the Saudi Civil Defense activated early warning sirens in the Dammam, Abqaiq, and Al-Ahsa regions to alert residents of potential security threats.
On the diplomatic front, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry emphasized the importance of coordinating with Lebanon to address allegations regarding Hezbollah's support for the Houthi group.
