Avigdor Lieberman, leader of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, has officially endorsed Yair Lapid for the position of the next Knesset Speaker, describing the move as the most appropriate course of action at this time.
Lieberman noted that the final decision regarding this proposal rests with Yair Lapid, Gadi Eisenkot, and Naftali Bennett.
As part of his efforts to establish a new governing coalition aimed at replacing the current Prime Minister, Lieberman announced his readiness to soften his stance on the exemption of ultra-Orthodox Jews from military service.
Furthermore, he urged opposition leaders to make necessary compromises to prevent the country from heading toward another round of elections.
