17 Detained During Olive Harvest Near Ramallah
Israeli forces arrested 17 individuals, including foreign activists and journalists, while they were assisting Palestinian farmers with the olive harvest in Kafr Ni'ma.
Israeli forces detained seventeen people on Friday in the village of Kafr Ni'ma, located west of Ramallah in the West Bank.
The arrests took place while the individuals were participating in the olive harvest to assist local Palestinian farmers.
The group of detainees included twelve international activists, two journalists, and three Palestinians.
The Palestinian "Fazaa" campaign reported that the Israeli forces transported the detainees to a nearby military camp.
According to the campaign, the activists were helping farmers access their lands, noting that the targeting of international volunteers during the harvest season has become a recurring issue.
The campaign stated that it continues its solidarity activities to support the resilience of farmers on their lands despite these measures.
