Zelenskyy Accuses Russia of Using North Korean Missiles in Energy Attacks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian forces utilized North Korean missiles to strike energy infrastructure, ahead of upcoming international talks.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russian forces of deploying North Korean KN-23 missiles during a series of attacks that occurred between Friday and Saturday.

The strikes targeted critical energy facilities, resulting in power outages across five Ukrainian regions. The Ministry of Energy confirmed significant damage in areas surrounding the capital, Kyiv.

Emergency response teams are currently working to repair the infrastructure despite the ongoing threat of air raid alerts.

Zelenskyy suggested that the intensification of these attacks is an attempt to exert pressure on Kyiv ahead of scheduled trilateral meetings to be held in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11.
