Military Escalation Between Coalition and Houthis in Yemen

El Fadaly News Desk ·

The coalition reported intercepting ballistic missiles targeting Riyadh and the Eastern Province, while Houthi-affiliated health officials reported casualties from airstrikes.

The Saudi-led coalition announced the interception of three ballistic missiles launched toward the Kingdom.

Coalition spokesperson Turki Al-Maliki confirmed that two missiles were aimed at the capital, Riyadh, while a third was intercepted over the Eastern Province.

In response, Anis Al-Asbahi, spokesperson for the Houthi-run Ministry of Health, reported that 33 people were killed.

Al-Asbahi stated that the casualties occurred following airstrikes on the village of Al-Shariya, located near Sanaa, adding that 39 others were injured in the same attack.

These developments occur amidst an intensification of field battles across several Yemeni governorates.

Military operations continue as part of ongoing efforts to regain control over territories held by the Houthis.
