Saudi Arabia Intercepts Houthi Ballistic Missiles and Drone
Saudi authorities reported the successful interception of multiple ballistic missiles and a drone launched toward various locations in the Kingdom.
Saudi air defenses successfully intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi group toward Riyadh on Sunday morning, following the activation of early warning systems in several areas.
These defensive operations followed a series of attacks, including the earlier interception of a cruise missile and a ballistic missile that targeted the Eastern Province hours prior.
Additionally, authorities confirmed the interception of a drone over Makkah late Saturday evening.
Officials stated that all defensive operations were conducted successfully, with no human casualties reported at this time.
Saudi authorities continue to monitor the airspace closely to ensure national security against any potential threats.
