Ali Maher Appointed as New Head Coach of Egypt National Team

El Fadaly News Desk ·

The Egyptian Football Association has appointed Ali Maher to lead the national team, replacing Hossam Hassan ahead of the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Egyptian Football Association board has decided to end the tenure of head coach Hossam Hassan and has officially appointed Ali Maher as his successor to lead the national team.

This leadership change occurs just days before the resumption of the African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, as the team prepares for crucial upcoming fixtures.

The Egyptian squad is currently gearing up for two matches against Malawi, scheduled to take place on November 13 and 17.

The national team began its qualifying journey with a draw against Angola, followed by a victory over South Sudan.
