Reality TV star Kim Kardashian faced a wave of criticism and mockery on social media after posting the phrase "Good Morning America" following the US midterm elections, which saw the Democratic Party gain control of Congress.

According to media reports, some followers interpreted the post as a political celebration, sparking backlash from Republican supporters, particularly given Kardashian's known friendship with Ivanka Trump.

Sources clarified that the post was intended to promote her appearance on the television show of the same name to publicize her new series. However, the lack of context led many to link it to the political landscape.

Kardashian has previously faced scrutiny over her associations with various political figures and billionaires, keeping her at the center of online debates regarding her political allegiances.
